Your itinerary
Step 1
Your walk begins at the bench path in the parking lot of the school.
Rivière-Saint-Sauveur. Cross the road, then enter the park of the
Morelle. Pass under the motorway bridge, then straight on rue du port. To cross
River. You can go back and forth to the church. Continue to
Rue du Viaduc.
Step 2
Just after the viaduct, climb rue Gustave Binet on your left then
cross the D140 (watch out for traffic). Take the path opposite
Boundaries. Cross the Route des Vats, then climb the Côte des Buis.
Step 3
At the top of the Côte des Buis, turn right into the woods. You will observe the
magnificent panorama of the Seine estuary. Once on the tarmac, take
left then right on Chemin des Bruyères. You will then borrow a
steep dirt road on your left which will take you into the village
of Ablon.
Step 4
In the village, take rue des Lilas then rue des Tilleuls on your left and
cross the plain. Cross the D140 (watch out for traffic) then take
the dirt road opposite. Turn left onto Chemin du Val de Crémanville.
Step 5
Turn right onto the path which will take you towards Orange. There you will find a
table to take a break.
Step 6
Once at the top, take the D277 on the right then climb into the woods on your
LEFT. You will pass behind the Château de Prêtreville.
Step 7
Turn right towards the Chemin des Monts d'Auboeufs which will take you towards the
village of Rivière-Saint-Sauveur via a pretty shaded and wooded path. At the end of the
path, cross the D277 then continue straight on the Essarts path. Of
return to the tarmac, turn right then immediately left along the
river. Go back under the viaduct then return to your starting point.
